Jabstep is a jam band hailing from the Baltimore/D.C. area with influences all over the map, from Beach Boys and Pink Floyd to modern jam bands like Umphrey’s McGee, Phish and Disco Biscuits. Guitarist and vocalist Jacob Hoffner honed his talents in Nashville, Tennessee before making his way to Denver and eventually the East Coast. Bassist Tim Williams, from Cleveland, draws inspiration from old school funk and scorching jammers like Papadosio and Goose. Known for his melodic playing style, Williams brings a catchy energy to the band. Matt Segal, the drummer, hails from Philadelphia and credits his love for the "four on the floor" style to his hip hop and dance music influences. They added shred head Paco Rodriguez in early 2023 to push their compositions to the next level. Together, Jabstep creates an eclectic sound that's sure to keep you on your toes.
